Dow Jones has launched a CRM Software product called “Wealth Management Direct” which is a CRM software package for independent financial advisers.

Siebel Systems has been named the 2005 CRM Market Leader in enterprise, marketing automation & midmarket by CRM Magazine. The magazine also labeled Siebel’s CEO, George Shaheen, as an influential leader to watch.

Every day in sales and business is critical. That lead you receive today, could very well be in the hands of your competition tomorrow. That is why I can’t stress enough the importance of taking full advantage of your leads once you receive them. Leads are not meant to sit around pinned onto bulletin boards, or placed in a tickler file. They are meant to be acted on. From SearchOracle.com: In a letter to customers this week, Oracle president Charles Phillips wrote that it was not market share, not technology, not even ego that drove his company to offer up $5.85 billion for CRM market leader Siebel Systems Inc.

“This is a customer-driven acquisition,” Phillips wrote. “Our joint customers have consistently recommended this transaction to both companies for over a year.” (more…)
